RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

Our aim at Toyota Central R&D Labs., Inc., is to make discoveries and create the technologies for an unpredictable future. The Core Technology Division and the Strategic Research Division are facing up to a wide range of challenges.

Core Technology Division

The Core Technology Division manages all of Toyota Central R&D Labs., core technologies. It guides research efforts for realizing new technologies and innovations by combining technologies from each specialist field. While engaged in a wide variety of core research efforts, it concentrates on six key research themes.

Strategic Research Division

The Strategic Research Division is actively researching fields outside the conventional business of the Toyota Group. By applying value to data and analyzing all feasible relationships, it is aiming to become a global pioneer capable of creating a new future.
